Navigate other content through panel below

Social conformity

Setting up the norm of mask-wearing by having all staff within the facility (across medical, administrative & cleaning) always wear a mask.
This sets up social pressure to demonstrate the “accepted practice” & also serves as a reminder for the practice.

Reporting non-compliance

Reporting continued non-compliance to mask-wearing, to a staff member of the hospital who can reprimand the non-compliance. Signage promoting this can be displayed around the hospital to also act an internal check for not being called out.

Making mask-wearing a criteria

Signs can be put around the different areas/rooms of the facilities which mention
“Only people wearing masks can enter this area” or
“Only people wearing masks can wait in this area” etc.

Setting these criteria adds pressure to conform , even if monitoring the actual compliance is difficult.
